This course meets 1 hour of the Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) continuing education requirements under the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act for the State of Georgia as an elective.

 Course Purpose and Description

 

This One Hour Georgia State Mortgage Law and Regulations CE Elective course includes a comprehensive summary of Georgia mortgage laws and regulations, including The Georgia Residential Mortgage Act, Mortgage Division Rules, and the Georgia Fair Lending Act.

 DeliveryThis course will be delivered as a on-line self-paced course that meets all requirements of the SAFE Act for self-paced courses and the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance.

 

 

Course Objectives

 

At the conclusion of this presentation, the student will understand the regulations and laws that govern Georgia mortgage lenders, brokers, and loan originators. The course will identify the actions that must be taken in order to be in compliance with Georgia mortgage regulations and laws. Upon completion of this course, the student will be knowledgeable about the requirements for licensing and be familiar with the paperwork and documentation required to meet Georgia compliance laws and regulations, as well as the fines and penalties for violations.

Completion Expectation
